Mark Bellavia

As a college math teacher, it is my belief that all students are capable of learning undergraduate mathematics. I feel that the manner in which the material is presented, along with being mindful of the individual needs and learning style of each student, provides a learning environment in which all students have the opportunity to be successful in mathematics.

In being aware of students’ diverse learning styles, developing techniques to motivate them both intrinsically and extrinsically, and taking the time to construct meaningful lectures, I feel I create an environment that maximizes student achievement. My true passion in life is teaching, and I am committed to the education of all my students as I work endlessly to help them achieve their goals.
