This glossary of key terms and related resources is intended to provide a common vocabulary for initiatives sponsored by the Community Center for Teaching Excellence (CCTE).  CCTE seeks to encourage appropriate application and use of research-based pedagogies, processes, skills, tools, technologies, and teaching practices that have proven to effectively impact student success. The Glossary was informed by the CCTE Facilitation Committee, a Professional Learning Community of K-20 educators committed to meaningful dialogue across the K-20 continuum.  Topics are grouped by theme; click on a topic to view the definition and related resources.
